Palisades born and raised
and a Pali graduate, I left to
attend the University of Wisconsin
and start my career. I
returned in 2001 to get my
Masters at UCLA. My wife and I live on
Linda Terrace with our 3 daughters. I
started and sold a successful healthcare
business and now focus on business ventures,
community needs, non-profit/
service organizations, Marquez Elementary,
children’s sports/activities, and
neighborhood/land-use issues. Serving
as Area 3 Representative of Marquez
Knolls, Sunset, and the Bel-Air Bay Club
area, I will bring energy to this neighborhood
at a broader level, to assure that
neighbors’ concerns are addressed.

What Greg's Supporters Say About Him

You may have never heard about the PPCC or its Area Representatives.  We now have the chance to elect someone who is in touch with the concerns of Marquez families and our community.   

Greg Sinaiko brings a fresh perspective who cares deeply about the same issues we care about and will advocate in our best interest including 

•  public safety; 
• sufficient Police and Fire resources; 
• homelessness; 
• land use and development issues, mansionization; 
• the proposed LADWP power distributing site;
• land movement issues at the school; 
•  playground access for the community; 
• parking and congestion at school drop off/pick up; 
• and many other quality of life concerns. 

Look out for the ballot from the PPCC—and be careful not to throw it out, it is not junk mail.  Simply fill it out and mail it back. A return address will be provided. In-person voting will take place on September 6 at the Palisades Recreation Center and September 7 at the Pacific Palisades farmer’s market.

Personal Statement

I was born and raised in Pacific Palisades, and lived here until I graduated from Pali High.  After leaving for college and starting my career in Chicago and New York, I returned to the place that was near and dear to my heart, the Palisades.  

My wife Marcie and I live in Marquez Knolls with our three children who are currently attending Marquez Charter and Pali High.   I started and sold a successful healthcare business and now focus on other business ventures, volunteer work and spending time with my family.  I understand and care deeply about the concerns of my fellow Area 3 residents, and should I have the honor of being voted Area 3 Representative, I will do my best to advocate on their behalf to the PPCC.

What is the most relevant issue in your area?

The most important local issue for Area 3 residents is the public safety and quality of life in our neighborhoods. This includes land movement issues; overdevelopment and enforcement of building codes; homelessness and the fire hazards associated with homeless encampments in surrounding canyons and hillsides; adequate police presence in our community; the proposed new LADWP power distributing site; motorcycles speeding on Sunset; street resurfacing; and parking and congestion at Marquez School drop off and pick up. 

How will you reach your constituents (what is your plan to communicate with area residents?

I plan to communicate to constituents through regular emails, blogging and facebook as well as other social media formats, and most importantly through frequent personal contacts and personal accessibility. 

What is the most relevant issue in the Community (or Community-wide) from your perspective?  

The revitalization of our business districts, in particular the Village area, is the most relevant issue community wide. The Palisades has changed over the past 40 years since I was a kid.  Yet it has managed to retain its sense of community.  

None of us old timers want the Palisades to lose the quality of life we treasure.  Yet, in order for the Palisades to remain the best place to live, the Palisades has and will benefit from reasonable change that maintains our small town feeling, addresses traffic and parking concerns and preserves our natural environment.
